Dr. Reyna Aday
PhD · LMHC · LPC · CPC · NCC · CST · MCAP · CHt · CFMHT · RYT-500 · EMDRIA Certified Therapist
Hello, I'm Dr. Reyna Aday
My work focuses on what often doesn't get said in other therapy rooms: complex trauma, sexuality and intimacy, betrayal and repair, and patterns that talk therapy alone hasn't reached. My training is built around that: a PhD in Clinical Sexology, board certification as a sex therapist, EMDR certification through EMDRIA, and board certification in clinical hypnotherapy. I founded SOMA Trauma Healing Center to keep that depth of care in one place. Sessions are private, paced to the work, and shaped around each person rather than a protocol.
My approach is integrative: EMDR for trauma processing, somatic and nervous-system work for what lives in the body, and clinical hypnosis for what talk alone cannot reach, matched to each client rather than applied from a template. I work with individuals and couples, especially where trauma, intimacy, and relationship meet.
Care is private pay and out of network: no insurance claims, no diagnostic codes filed. Sessions are scheduled around demanding calendars, offered in person in Coral Gables, Florida, or virtually, with continuity across Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico.

Fees & Insurance
By Appointment Only · Rates Shared at Consultation
My practice is private-pay and considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. I have chosen this model so I can offer care that is thoughtful, individualized, and less constrained by the limitations insurance often places on mental health treatment. Current rates are shared during your consultation. Superbills are provided upon request for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA payments are accepted.
